Our small, private estate is ideally situated for exploring all of Kent and Sussex; Sissinghurst Gardens and Great Dixter are ten minutes drive away, a train to London takes one hour from Staplehurst, you can even reach France with your car in two hours via the channel tunnel or perhaps train from Ashford International and lunch in Paris.

Waters End has 43 acres (20 hectares) situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by the valley we nestle in. With marvellous views over our lakes, a stream, rolling fields and hop gardens, vineyards and fruit orchards on the other side of our valley, the heart of what Kent is all about.  Virtually the only man made land mark being Sandhurst Windmill on the horizon.  From our sign on the road wind your way down our long drive through the stone pillars, leaving the hubbub of life far behind (but not the comforts).

Whilst strolling around our lakes, you might catch a glimpse of our resident kingfishers, they also fish on the pond surrounding the house as do the swallows.  Wild ducks, Greylags and Canada Geese nest on the islands and stay all summer, rearing their ducklings and goslings until they are big and strong enough to take well instructed flying lessons descending our lawns and land on the lakes.  Occasionally, deer and badgers are spotted and much to the amusement of our Isle of Man visitors we are generously stocked with bunny rabbits, as well as a badger set.

So, if you are looking for either a luxury Bed and Breakfast or Holiday Cottage, look no further, Waters End Farm is the perfect location for holiday touring, exploring, cycling, walking, golfing or just relaxing.  You will not be disappointed.

Welcome to Waters End

Over the years we have over 12000 trees , all natural broadleaf typical of this area. Our Wealden Clay soil that originally drew us here 27 years ago with the idea of fish farming has prooved not only to be the best for pond construction and lakes but also excellent for woodland so in only 12 year we have trees of 7/8 metres,  good specimen Oaks and Ash etc.,

plenty to stroll around.

Please have a look at the bed and breakfast page for details of our extremely comfortable accommodation but note we are unable to take bed and breakfast bookings for less than

two nights.
