We look forward to welcoming you here at Waters
End. By making this booking you are entering an
agreement with us.
Please read our terms and conditions of booking
below.
Booking
The booking is not effective until the receipt
of the required deposit of £25.00 per room or on
receipt of confirmation from Heart of Kent. On
receipt of deposit, written confirmation of the
booking will be despatched to the hirer by post
or email. The hirer must be over the age of 18.
If the booking is made within eight weeks of the
booking commencement date, full payment will be
required at time of booking.
Payments
May be made by credit card, debit card or postal
order. Should any ‘extra’ charges be raised
against us by your bank (due perhaps to i.e.
default or bank administration charges) they
will be passed on to you and you will be liable
to reimburse us in respect of such charges
within 7 days. Overseas visitors may pay by
credit card which we will charge in sterling.
Balance Payment
The balance of the full stay will be due for
payment eight weeks prior to holiday
commencement date. No reminders will be sent out
beyond the booking confirmation which advises
you of the balance due date. For all credit card
payments the balance will automatically be
deducted from the card eight weeks prior to the
booked date of stay.
If we do not receive payment by this date then
we will treat it as a cancellation. In which
case we will be entitled to keep all of the
deposit already paid. If we do not cancel
straight away because you have promised to make
payment, you will be liable for cancellation
charges, depending on the date Waters End treats
your booking as cancelled. Any administration
charges to the booking will incur an
administration charge of £25.00 + VAT.
Cancellation Charges
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal
contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If
you cannot take your reservation and the booking
cannot be re-let, or you terminate your stay
before completion, you are still liable to pay
for the booking in full, even if we have not yet
received your balance. If we do succeed in
re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable
for the balance, or we will refund it to you if
you have paid it, less an administration fee of
25% of the total booking.
Please note that your deposit is not refundable
under any circumstances. We would strongly
recommend that you take out cancellation
insurance to cover this cost.
Booking Alterations/Amendment will incur an
administration charge of £25 plus VAT.
Pets
Well behaved dogs are permitted in the barn
accommodation by prior arrangement only, at an
additional cost of £5 per night. Please note
sheep are regularly grazing the surrounding area
and chickens free range. Dogs must be controlled
at all times.
Children
Whilst children are welcome please note: We have
many ponds and lakes with both shallow and deep
water. Children must be supervised by a
responsible adult at all times. We do not accept
any responsibility for resident’s safety and
wellbeing.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in or on the
farm of Waters End.
Non-availability of
Accommodation
We would only cancel your booking if your
accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond
our control. We would however attempt to offer
you alternative accommodation. If this was not
possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would
refund all monies paid by you for the
reservation.
Our liability would not extend beyond this
refund.
Arrival
Your accommodation will be available for 5am on the day of arrival, unless otherwise
arranged. Should you wish to arrive later than
7pm in the evening please contact us in advance.
If however you have been delayed please keep us
informed so that arrangements can be made,
failure to do so could result in curtailment of
your booking. Failure to arrive on the booked
start date will be treated as a full cancelation
of booking.
Late Arrival
Please ensure you contact us no later than 7pm
to let us know if you will be arriving late.
Failure to notify us may result in the above.
Departure
The accommodation is to be vacated by 10am,
unless otherwise arranged prior to arrival. If
staying more than one night please note that
room access is not available during the day,
between 10am and 5pm as we are not a Hotel.
Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage,
loss or injury to yourself or your party or any
vehicle or possessions, unless proven to be
caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our
employees or contractors whilst acting in the
course of employment or contract.
Privacy policy
Any data collected during the course of this
booking will be stored on our computer(s). With
your permission we may from time to time contact
you about promotions and offers. We will not
share your details with a third party.
